Itineraries

Day 1

Arrive Seoul

Touching down at lncheon International Airport places you in the heart of Korea.

Day 2

Seoul

Your exploration this morning begins with Cheonggye Square and pedestrian­friendly Gwanghwamun Plaza. Discover Gyeongbokgung Palace, a particularly charming spot that represents a colorful and turbulent side of the capital's SQQ. year history. Depending on timing, you may witness the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony featuring parade, password verification, duty shift and patrolling the gate. Visit National Folk Museum of Korea showcasing a traditional lifestyle of Korean people. Then, stroll down the alleys of lnsa-dong, enjoying a cultural ambience of traditional Korean art and antiques. You will tour the centuries-old Namdaemun Market selling anything you can imagine.

Day 3

DMZ (The 3rd Tunnel)

The 3rd Tunnel is one of the four infiltration tunnels dug by the North to facilitate an invasion of the South. At Dora Observatory, view across the land north of Demilitarized Zone including North Korean propaganda village. Check out Dorasan Station, the last railway station in South Korea before the North Korean border.

Day 4

Seoul - Seoraksan

Travel to Seoraksan exploring Hwajinpo beach and Sokcho city.

Day 5

Seoraksan National Park

Spend the day in nature exploring the beautiful landscapes. The word of the day is hiking. There are many scenic trails of varying lengths and difficulty.

Day 6

Seoraksan -Andong

Drive past North Korean Submarine and then explore a super massive Hwanseon Cave. Tour also includes Desan Seowon, a Confucian-shrine academy from the 16th century.

Day 7

Andong - Gyeongju

You will explore UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ha hoe village from the 15th century. It is the best preserved traditional village portraying and spanning the life of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910} and some 480 Korean traditional houses, both large and small, are still fully functioning.

Day 8

Gyeongju

Explore the delights of UNESCO World Heritage Site, Soekguram grotto & Bulguksa temple. Your tour also includes Gyeongju National Museum for a great insight into Silla culture and history. You can check out the world's oldest existing astronomical observatory, Cheomseongdae. Visit Tumuli Park. One of the tombs, Cheonmachong, is opened to the public and you can go inside and see how the tombs were made and replicas of the treasures excavated in 1973. Evening with a tour of illuminated Donggung palace and Wolji pond, a pleasure garden built to commemorate the victory of Silla.

Day 9

Gyeongju - Yangsan - Busan

En route stop at Tongdosa, the tern pie of the Buddha. Visit UN memorial cemetery where 2,300 deceased soldiers from sixteen Korean War allies rest in honored serenity. Next up is Gamcheon village, an amazing community built on the side of a hill. BIFF Square packed with trendy shops, movie theaters and food stalls is also included. You will tour the fascinating Jagalchi fish market, a great attraction located dockside. The market is really a visual and culinary treat.

Day 10

Busan - Jeju

An hour flight to Jeju. Your tour continues with a visit to Jeju Folklore and Natural History Museum for a glimpse of jeju's unique culture and geological features. Tour also includes Samseonghyeol, a very symbolic spot to the islanders.

Day 11

Jeju

Spend a full day exploring western half of the island including many of the top attractions of Jeju covering Hallim Park, Sanbangsan, Jisatgae, Oedolgae needle rock and Cheonjiyeon Waterfall.

Day 12

Jeju

Another day of further exploration of the fascinating culture and natural wonders of Jeju including Seongeup folk village, where you will learn about a beautiful tradition and culture of this friendly people with No Thief, No Beggar and No Gate, Seongsan llchulbung, Haenyeo Museum and Manjang Cave.

Day 13

Jeju - Seoul

Return on a domestic flight (lhour) to Seoul.

Departure

Depart Korea by boarding.
